| Designed by Altus
founder and
flutemaker, Suichi Tanaka, the Z-cut headjoint for the Azumi flute
features a professional, hand cut embouchure hole with a wider,
rectangular shape to provide quick, free response and large tone
throughout all registers. The Z-cut is consrtucted of higher density
.958 Britannia Silver, usually preserved for professional models,
providing darker, more dramatic tone and optimal sound options for
advancing flutists. In keeping with the Altus tradition of innovation
and superior craftmanship, the Azumi body features the Altus-Bennet
Scale for more accurate intonation. Details like wide rib construction
and sturdy key mechanism as well as advanced features like the gizmo
key, Altus SP-1 springs and .958 Britannia Silver construction on the
3000 series combine for the perfect blend of playability and
performance for young players as they step up in their playing. |
